Pocketpills is an online platform where you complete a short health assessment, a doctor reviews it, and a Pocketpills pharmacy dispenses and ships any prescription. We classify it as a pharmacy program because the pharmacy handles billing, counselling and delivery, though it also offers other treatments.

How we checked: Read Pocketpills' own pages (weight-loss program, homepage, terms) on 3 Oct 2026. It delivers to every province, but its terms say the platform is not for Quebec residents, so we leave Quebec off. We have not completed a sign-up.
Who it suits
Good fit if
You want the pharmacy that fills your prescription to also bill your insurance and ship it.
You want to start with an online assessment, not a booked visit.
You prefer a fee at each renewal to a monthly membership.
You want one account that can also handle other treatments, such as birth control or acne.
Less suited if
You want a scheduled video visit and a named clinician throughout.
You want coaching or dietitian support built into the program.
You want a published follow-up schedule with set check-ins.
You live in Quebec, since the terms say the platform is not for Quebec residents.
We read Pocketpills’ weight loss page, treatment page, home page and terms of use on 3 October 2026. This page explains how the service works as Pocketpills publishes it. The comparison table and provider card carry the same ten fields we record for every provider.
How sign-up works
Pocketpills describes four steps: create an account and answer an online assessment that takes about five minutes, a Pocketpills doctor reviews it within 48 hours, your medication is delivered, and you get ongoing support. The doctor decides whether to prescribe, and Pocketpills says you are not charged for medication you do not receive if you are not approved. It states that no blood work is needed.
Its FAQ says these medications are usually recommended for adults with a BMI (body mass index, a ratio of weight to height) over 30, or over 27 with a related condition, and that its doctors review each health history. Its terms say the physicians are independent third parties, not Pocketpills employees, with full authority over whether to prescribe. The weight loss page does not say whether a call is part of the review.
What is included and what costs extra
Pocketpills charges for the doctor visit and for renewals, and the pharmacy bills the medication separately. The $0 first visit is a limited-time promotion: Pocketpills shows it against a regular $100, and we did not see an end date. We found no monthly membership. The page lists unlimited doctor follow-ups and anytime access to doctors and the Care team, but no follow-up schedule.

Your pharmacy sends an invoice for each transaction, and Pocketpills says it bills your insurer directly. If a drug is not automatically covered, the terms say to ask your insurer and have your prescriber complete its form, which is usually called special authorization. See our coverage guides and price guides.
How your medication arrives
A Pocketpills pharmacy fills the order. The terms name two, one in British Columbia and one in Ontario, owned by separate companies. Before anything ships, a pharmacist contacts you to discuss the medication, and payment is taken after that conversation. Pocketpills says delivery is free and discreet, in temperature-safe packaging, and its weight loss page gives one to five days. For refills, your pharmacy notifies you and you confirm in the platform.
Where it is available and what we have not confirmed
Pocketpills’ pages say it delivers to every province and territory, including Quebec. Its terms of use say the platform is not for use by residents of Quebec, so we leave Quebec off. We do not track territories.
We classify Pocketpills as a pharmacy program. Its terms say the Pocketpills pharmacies are licensed by provincial pharmacy colleges, and the pharmacy invoices you, bills your insurer, counsels you before shipping and ships the medication. The site’s wording varies. A treatment FAQ calls Pocketpills a licensed Canadian pharmacy, its footer says it is not a pharmacy, and the terms explain that the platform company is not itself a licensed pharmacy while the pharmacies are owned by separate companies.
It also treats other conditions on the same account, including acne, birth control, erectile dysfunction, hair loss and diabetes. We did not see a dietitian or coaching service, so we have not recorded one. Read our care models guide and providers overview to compare it with other services, or see our methodology.
We earn a commission when you sign up with some providers through our links. It never changes our prices or how we rank providers. How we rank
This page is not a recommendation and not medical advice. Ask a prescriber or pharmacist whether a GLP-1 is appropriate for you.
Questions people ask
Is Pocketpills a pharmacy or a telehealth service?
Both, run by different companies. Its terms say the platform operator, CasaHealth Tech Inc., is not a licensed pharmacy, while the Pocketpills pharmacies that dispense and ship are owned by separate companies and licensed by provincial pharmacy colleges.
Is the $0 first visit permanent?
Pocketpills labels it a limited-time offer and shows a regular first-visit price of $100. We did not see an end date, so check the current price before you start (read 3 Oct 2026).
Can I use Pocketpills if I live in Quebec?
Not under its terms. Its pages list delivery to Quebec, but the terms say the platform is not for use by Quebec residents, so we do not list Quebec.
Does Pocketpills bill my insurance?
Pocketpills says it handles the paperwork and bills your insurer directly. Whether your plan pays for a given drug is your insurer's decision.
